FoamKit 2000 - Foam Properties
Foam properties are displayed on the Process screen:
- Foam piece density and block density (kg/m3 or lb/ft3)
- CLD / ILD hardness (BS 4443, DIN 53577 or ASTM)
- Tensile strength
- Elongation at break
- Compression set
- Block exotherm temperature (gives warning if >165oC)
Formulation for given density and hardnessNormally, the foam properties will be displayed for a given formualation. It is also possible to input a required density and hardness - FoamKit 2000 will then calculate the formulation which will give those foam properties |
